We undertake exclusively charitable, educational, scientific and research activities that seek to promote the public’s welfare and, in particular, but not exclusively, Nigerian people living in the United Kingdom. We do this by associating together such people and the local UK professional and social authorities and other charitable organisations in a joint effort to relieve poverty and sickness, advance education, and provide facilities for recreation and other leisure-time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life of the people.
We strive to promote continuous education and professional development opportunities amongst NIRAD members.
Strengthen networking and mentorship programs for Nigerian Radiographers in the UK/ROI.
Engage in organising voluntary healthcare outreach initiatives in underserved areas and hinterlands in Nigeria and Africa in general.
We shall regularly be interfacing with the Nigerian healthcare authorities, advising where a need arises to enhance Radiography training and practice standards in Nigeria.
We shall continue advocating for fair employment practices and equal opportunities for Nigerian Radiographers based in the UK/ROI.
We will continually promote the adoption of cutting-edge radiography technologies and practices by facilitating research and innovation within the Nigerian Radiographer diaspora gathering.
We will explore partnerships with technology companies for the donation of medical equipment and items towards updating training concepts in Nigeria
We will establish a vibrant online platform to connect Nigerian Radiographers in the UK/ROI.
We will regularly update members on industry trends, job opportunities, and organisational activities through knowledge-sharing via webinars, seminars, and publications.
